I'm currently more interested in the CryptoNote family of algorithms than in traditional Blockchain

but I know how both work.

What are you trying to achieve? Blockchain tech is great, but not ideally suitable to every possible application under the sun.

What I am looking is how to apply blockchain in supply chain and logistics, I mean a concrete uses cases.
I know that ibm is working on it but still a baby project
To be honest I don't how we can use this tech in transport or logistics but I am pretty sure that blockchain is the future 100% sure

So I am trying do anticipate! Even more I am trying to convince my top mngt to go for a feasibility project, the best example is the port of antwerpen theory are already on it! So why not us.

La blockchain est la methode employee par toutes les cryptomonnaies pour empecher le double-spending. Car ces monnaies ne sont que des bits et bytes qu'on peut copier comme n'importe quelles autres donnees. Avec le blockchain, le systeme collectif verifie que personne ne peut tricher en depensant ses memes coins plusieurs fois. C'est une sorte de releve de compte qui contient l'ensemble de toutes les transactions du monde, et chaque ordinateur qui y participe a une copie (pour l'instant 150 GB pour la blockchain du Bitcoin) qu'il maintient a jour et ou il verifie et valide chaque nouvelle transaction en temps reel.

j'ai lu quelque part comme si on a un grand journal comptable où toutes les opérations y sont :D

Oui, c'est exactement ca. Et pour que personne ne falsifie ce journal, on utilise des methodes cryptographiques. Techniquement, c'est difficile a expliquer a des debutants... mais ce qui compte: ca marche tres bien.
