Chauffeur de taxi natif du Maroc tué à Newport News Usa

La police a publié le nom d'un chauffeur de taxi tué alors qu'il travaillait dimanche soir.

un agent de police a découvert Mohammed "Mike" Laktami, 32 ans, natif du Maroc vivant légalement aux États-Unis, derrière le volant de sa cabine, juste avant 10:30 pm dimanche à l'intersection du 20e rue et de l'avenue Marshall.

Il avait été blessé par balle une fois dans la tête, a déclaré Harold Eley, Newport News porte-parole de la police. La police a retrouvé la cabine arrêtée sur la route.

les chauffeurs des taxis en general conduisent tres mal ici....la majorite d'eux sont du tiers-monde

mais en general, c'est juste et c'est se qu'il faut. le droit de posseder un arm est protege par la constitution americaine.

Allah yar7am ce frere. il y a des villes ou c'est dangerous d'etre un chauffeur de taxi.

Je parles pas de ce Mr may his sool rest in peace, je parle de tous les taxi-drivers du monde.
mais ils sont presque tous malades. Au japon, tu veux aller de l'aeroport d'ossaka ou Tokyo au quartier que tu veux, ces taxieurs vont aller te faire toute une introduction du ville avant d 'arriver a ta destination..en plus, ils parlent de la ***** si tu contredis leur chemin en te chargeant des YAN en plus d'appeler la police si tu contredis la somme que tu dois payer..
La meme histoire se repite, au Maroc, a NY, en FRANCE, en MEXIQUE, au BREZIL, en AUSTRALIE, en ARGENTINE...
parfois les clients ont aussi des droits, parfois on veut tuer le taxi driver.
pour ce Mr, je connais pas son histoire allah irahmou, moi je parles des Taxi-drivers en general.
il faut etre vraiment un malade mental pour conduire un Taxi, surtout en Amerique.

They sure do... but it depends where you are. If you stay out of a couple of well-known high-crime areas, it's quite peaceful and bearable here.

And, you know, people get killed every night elsewere too: it's not an american speciality. Welcome to Earth, third rock from the sun.

yes it's very peaceful and quiet if you live between your work and your house. if we suppose you can afford nice house in nice area.

there is not many people who die in US each year. for example The FBI reported 15,707 murders around the country in 2007.

Yes, but on the other hand, even quiet suburbs share their lot of murders. But that's usually not the robbery-kind we're talking about.

Well, frankly, I'd rather get shot dead while I'm still healthy, than to die after a long struggle with an incurable disease like cancer. It's faster and less painful.

I agree with you. I prefer live in a country where you can carry guns. you should be able to defend yourself from the crap of the governments. they work right when they are scared for their lives. look at us in Morocco? one marda can oppress a whole population because people doesn't have the right to carry guns. if they do, you will find marda using logic to convince people.

I also want my fellow Moroccans to know the facts of the life in America. they have to quit listening to those who want present for them the life in America, like living in paradise.

you can get killed in America for no reason but it's not something that can happen daily...
