Imperial Marrakech ...
I'm wondering what Imperial Marrakech would look like with Al-Badii Palace still in place ?
I mean, seeing it in ruins is a strong reminder that nothing everlastingly stands the proof of time ... everything is meant to vanish. But at the same time it's a bit sad that no part of it is still intact, and the saddest being its degradation was mainly due to human activity.
I hope one day to see at least a room or two rebuilt based on historical records and other Saadian works, although I expect such a project to cost toooooooo much money.
This is one of the things I feel sad about concerning Marrakesh, along with the fact that no known major Almoravid works are left in the city apart from the Qoubba.
