And Dutch authorities are continuing to build other cases against him. An Amsterdam court heard on Wednesday that Fassih is being probed for the slaying of a drug dealer in front of his nine-year-old son.

Armed robber Vincent Jalink, 38, was shot dead on May 27, 2016, as he walked to his Porsche Cayenne from the front door of his gaff.

The victim had owed a debt to another drug dealer and police believe Fassih agreed to take care of the issue.

This was detailed during a hearing in relation to the case against another man accused of being the gunman.

Prosecutors said evidence of Fassih’s involvement surfaced on encrypted PGP servers seized by Dutch police.

The timing of the murder — just seven weeks after Fassih’s arrest at a Kinahan-linked Dublin apartment — indicates he organised it from Ireland.

Our High Court heard on Wednesday his stay here was uncovered by chance when gardai seized €17,000 in drug money from the home of cartel kingpin Daniel Kinahan’s childhood pal Jeremy Skerritt.

The keys to Fassih’s Baggot Street bolthole were found in a follow-up raid on Skerritt’s girlfriend’s flat. This is the second murder for which Fassih is under investigation. He is already suspected of organising the December 2015 killing of terrorist Mohammad Reza Kolahi Samadi on behalf the Iranian government.
