As a Wataniya Airways Cabin Crew member you will need to be friendly, enthusiastic and will ensure guest comfort and safety on each flight you operate on. You will help your guests to have a memorable in-flight experience while onboard our aircraft.
You will be the face of our airline and need to be professional, friendly and understanding. Early morning, late night and even after a tiring flight, you still will need to be friendly and immaculately groomed.
All of our Cabin Crew will be provided with a comprehensive safety and service training.
Principal accountabilities:
Responsible for safety of our guests by ensuring that safety and emergency procedures are adhered to.
Walk aisles of planes to check that passengers have complied with regulations prior to take-offs, landings and during the flight.
Verify that first aid kits and other emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles, are in working order.
Administer first aid to passengers in distress.
Attend preflight briefings concerning weather, altitudes, routes, emergency procedures, crew coordination, lengths of flights, food and beverage services offered, and numbers of passengers.
Determine special assistance needs of passengers such as small children, the elderly, or disabled persons.
Check to ensure that food, beverages, blankets, reading material, emergency equipment, and other supplies are on board and are in adequate supply.
Reassure passengers when situations such as turbulence are encountered.
Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency, such as directing passengers to evacuate a plane following an emergency landing.
Education, capabilities, skills and experience:
Minimum age of 23 years at the time of application;
Minimum arm reach of 214 cms (on tip toes without shoes), which will enable you to reach emergency equipment onboard our aircrafts;
Weight in proportion to height;
Educated to at least high school standard;
Medically fit to meet requirements to obtain a Cabin Attendant medical certificate;
Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in another language is an asset, preferably Arabic. All applicants will be tested on English language abilities;
Previous experience in the airline, service and/or hospitality industry is an advantage.
Service orientated, people person.
Well groomed projected a professional image;
Ability to work irregular and flexible hours;
