I have been there. It is nice. I took a bunch of Californians, the ex wife, the grandma, the dad, the aunt, cousins ...
Tbourida while you eat ... There was no drinking ... The Californians decided not to drink Alcohol out of respect
for La Karima my mother .... Even though these Californians own their own winery ....
We used to get F...ed up on the wine while having dinner at Grandma's.
The Grandma for example has a vacation house right in Bodega. All we needed to do is call Grandma Gracie to reserve it.
I was practically there twice a month with my friends Moroccan friends sometimes ... They came from all over
Arizona, Los Angeles, Texas, ... It is a big house right on the Pacific Ocean . Private Beach. ....
The Complex At Bodega Bay By The Sea.
Early Saturday Morning, I would get a Big Salmon Whole Fish and cook it Moroccan style in the oven ...

I have been to Chez Ali. And I took these Californians with me. A bunch of them. Long time ago 1997 maybe.
Tbourida ... They liked it ....
Bodega Bay. I still go. It is about 75 minutes. North.
I cross the San Rafael Bridge then 101 North.
I exit when I get to Petaluma. I go across town
and then I get on this beautiful country road/Highway 1.
Before I get to Bodega Bay (The Ocean), I pass Bodega
where Alfred Hitchcock filmed the movie The Birds.
I watched this movie at AST (American School Of Tangiers) before coming to the US in the eighties.
The Church and The School are still there ... The cemetery is there too ...

There is also Essaouira. Nice and cool. The Atlantic. Fish. It is not that really that far. Less than 1 hour drive.
It was designed by Mohammed III to be the port for the Imperial City Of Marrakesh ...
My other Grandma lived in Essaouira .... She had a place in the Medina nicely situated. A small walk
from the port ... to the right of Bab Sbaa. There is this very popular Fish restaurant in the port. Chez Sam.
My favorite. The minute I get to Essaouira, I tell the hotel to reserve me a table at Chez Sam's.
Before Sam a Jewish Moroccan owned it. He probably passed away now. A new Owner ... But the name did
not change ...

The theatro was my club in the last 20 years, il prefer the beginning of this club.
When I was a kid a 5th grader (1977), we performed "Le Malade Imaginaire". Moliere.
Back then it was a theater ... The Minister of Education was present. La Karima
told me that the Minister spoke highly of Me. He liked my acting .... Of all the kids Yousseff, Noufissa, Jaafar, ...
I got his Attention. They dressed us like Frogs. We even had wigs. (Perruque)
Can you imagine Saint John looking like a Frog with a Wig? My God.
It was a lot of work. And that's why they picked the brightest kids. The ones with the good grades ...

Abdelouhab Doukalli in the Hammam . He bought a nice Villa in the neighborhood. The villa
used to belong to a French Countess. The Kids called her Madame Farina
a very old lady ....
Doukalli was getting ready to perform for a National Holiday for King Hassan II in Marrakesh ...
They were practicing in Madrasat Nakhil a nice school with a Well Kept Grand Garden not too far from
Hammam Salama. My sisters and I used to go watch them ... The Garden had fruit trees, all types of flowers
a small swimming pool .... Karmouss, Grapes, Latchine, Palm trees, Zenboh, .... and we had
Full Access to the Garden on the weekends. And summer time we swim in the pool ...
