Is anybody using a Dvorak keyboard (layout) here to type English texts in a more ergonomic way than with plain old QWERTY?
I've tried Dvorak in the past, but as a programmer, I always go back to QWERTY, because frequently used keys like [ ] \ / ; etc. are easier to reach there. There's a special Programmer's Dvorak sublayout that looks nice, but that's, unlike Dvorak, not installed by default on each and every computer out there, so I didn't yet seriously considered using it. Maybe I should though...
Oh, maybe I would also need a special (Programmer's) Dvorak for left handers. Perhaps some kind of mirrored layout that places frequently used keys on the left instead of the right? Hmmm....
