Many people are trying to find an excuse to Spain recent decision in favor of Morocco regarding Moroccan Sahara. Hessia is one of them.
This person is identified under a username Hessia on Bladi.net Forum.
I am assuming he is a man.
He argued that Spain made a deal with Morocco and here is the deal in his opinion:
Spain recognizes the Western Sahara Autonomy Proposal of Morocco on one side, and on the other side Morocco resigns and renounces on its rights to reclaim its two enclave cities Ceuta and Melilla and Canary Islands.
He did not, however, provide enough supporting details to his statement and opinion. And he should! He only posted another writer's opinion and it is a weak argument!
One of the ideas that were posted in that topic is that Morocco has successfully scored a goal by changing Spain's decision regarding the Western Sahara in its favor. Another idea to tackle Hessia's argument is that Morocco is doing one battle at a time like the English saying “Eat the elephant one bite at a time” and this was mentioned by macarons.
Sanzo also reminded him that “Le Maroc n'a rien signé de tel mais il agit par priorité et la priorité actuelle est le sahara.” meaning Morocco hasn’t signed any such deal and The Sahara of Morocco is the priority number one to us (all moroccans) and our government.
Another idea that was posted is that Spain is certainly looking to its benefits and its decision reflects that for sure. Spain is absolutely looking to building a stronger business relationship with Morocco. Morocco by all means is the partner number one in Africa of Spain.
Spain could say no to Morocco, but did not!
Why??? As Nasser Bourita said:
“The Morocco of today is not that of yesterday”/Le Maroc d'aujourd'hui n'est pas celui d'hier”
