Circle Oil Plc (AIM: COP), les internationaux du pétrole et du gaz, le développement et la société de production, est heureux d'annoncer que, suite à l'amélioration des conditions du sol dans certaines parties du bassin Rharb la cinquième et dernière ainsi dans la campagne de forage en cours a été foré par battage .

Le bien désigné KSR-11 vise la formation Hoot à une profondeur estimée de 1.750 mètres. L'objectif est similaire à ceux déjà fait ses preuves dans KSR-8 et KSR-10.


Il est actuellement prévu que le forage, l'exploitation forestière, et en cas de succès, les essais du puits prendra environ 5-6 semaines.


Le permis de Sebou se trouve au nord-est de Rabat dans le bassin Rharb au Maroc. Le bassin Rharb est un bassin avant-fosse située dans la zone externe de la ceinture Rif pliées. La convention de concession, dans laquelle Cercle a une part de 75% et l'ONHYM, la compagnie pétrolière d'État du Maroc, a une part de 25%, inclut le droit de conversion à une licence de production de 25 ans, plus des extensions en cas de découverte commerciale.

Drilling Update Sebou Permit Morocco

Circle Oil Plc (AIM: COP), the international oil and gas exploration, development and production company, is pleased to announce that following improvements in ground conditions in parts of the Rharb Basin the fifth and final well in the current drilling campaign has been spudded .



The well designated KSR-11 is targeting the Hoot formation at an estimated depth of 1,750 metres. The target is similar to those previously proven successful in KSR-8 and KSR-10.



It is presently anticipated that the drilling, logging, and if successful, testing of the well will take approximately 5-6 weeks to complete.



The Sebou permit lies to the north-east of Rabat in the Rharb Basin in Morocco. The Rharb Basin is a foredeep basin located in the external zone of the Rif Folded belt. The concession agreement, in which Circle has a 75% share and ONHYM, the Moroccan State oil company, has a 25% share, includes the right of conversion to a production licence of 25 years, plus extensions in the event of commercial discoveries.

It has confirmed a gas discovery in the Main Intra Hoot target and secondary targets available for future testing in the Mid and Base Guebbas sands.
