Whoa, whoa, relax buddy, this is only an election. Dont get all Dubya on me, 'kay? I have good reasons to be wary of both candidates. I dislike Trump intensely, and Hillary just slightly less intensely, but still. My only choice now is either not to vote, or to vote against my deepest gut feelings for Hillary just to stop Trump. Neither choice is a good one, not even a barely acceptable one in my eyes. I'm really miffed that it has come so far that we have no decent choice, only crap or more crap.
Now, whoever makes it, I'll live with it. Fortunately, POTUS's powers are constitutionally limited, and we have a good system of checks and balances in place; plus it's the economy that runs the show. Sooo... no reason to panic; just to be sad.
Too bad Hillary didn't pick Bernie as her runner mate. They could have complemented each other on so many levels.
As for POTUS having limited powers, it is a bit of an exaggeration. It is true the US government has 3 Legislative, Judicial and Executive branches, but POTUS is still the commander in chief, and as such he got absolute authority over the executive branch of government.
